Masa Sumide & Paolo Sereno & Takeshi Sakasegawa “Happiness” Acoustic Guitar Concert

Masa Sumide ( Japan )

“One of the world’s greatest solo guitarists.” — Tuck Andress (Tuck & Patti)

Hailed by fellow guitarists as a ‘brilliant groove player’, Masa Sumide stretches the limit of the acoustic guitar and lets it sing with his unique one-man band style and melodic compositions. His repertoire runs from jaw-dropping funky tunes to sophisticated yet accessible jazzy, bluesy grooves along with some ballads that are sure to touch the soul.

Paolo Sereno ( Italy )

In 1996, during the ADGPA Convention in Italy, Marcel Dadi calls him on the stage during the evening final concert to play “One for Marcel” his first “super picking” composition dedicate to the great French master. After this incredible first time with the big of finger style guitar (he shared the stage with Paolo Giordano, Ed Gerhard etc…) Paolo played for important music shows.

In 2000 Paolo played in Venice during the shows for the carnival and then he shared the stage with people like Tim Sparks and Muriel Anderson during some other concert.

In 2002 he plays opening acts for William Ackermann and Don Ross who has beautiful words for him. Then he comes out with his first CD “Con la Chitarra” (self-production) a work which contains seven original compositions and seven covers (some played with his acoustic quartet) like “Nuovo Cinema Paradiso” for finger style solo guitar and a special rom track with the tabs played in the cd: a new product in the field of acoustic guitar works.

In 2003 he begins a collaboration with the American folksinger Jacqueline Perkins and Walter Lupi, and wins the first prize as best author/performer on acoustic guitar at the “New sounds of acoustic music” during the international guitar meeting in Sarzana – Italy.

Takeshi Sakasegawa ( Japan )

He was born from Kagoshima in Japan; Kagoshima is famous for its beauty. Takeshi inspired by his hometown and creates his music using his imagination.

Takeshi has become the new generation of Japan Fingerstyle guitarist. He uses his guitar to tell stories; you can hear stories about the forest, the river, the wind, the birds and love. In his album Short Stories Forest of Life, you will be completely immersed by his music that he is trying to convey.

Besides music, his showmanship and stage presence further enhances one’s experience during his live concert. You can never get enough of his music ; it is a concert not to be missed.
